Newcomers > Hello KL course
You're here, you've unpacked your boxes, your apartment is nearly organised, so now it's time to get up, get out, and make some new friends. That's where we come in to provide the perfect forum to maximise your time in KL. We know how tough it can be meeting new people in a strange environment; we know because we were once new too. So put yourselves in our capable hands and let us help you settle into this exciting city, make some new friends and have fun.
The Hello KL courses run every month for four consecutive Thursdays between 10am and 1.30pm. The first and last session will be run from the ABWM house in Bangsar, whilst the second and third sessions will involve moving around this vibrant city and tackling the local transport.
We aim to have groups of eight which will be led by the Hello KL organisers who will be delighted to share their knowledge of the city and other parts of Malaysia with you. They will provide you with a wealth of information gleaned from their years of living here as expats. Their aim is to equip you in one month with all the knowledge it has taken them years to learn. If you are new to KL this is a brilliant way to find your way around and make a few friends along the way.
