Openhands is a girls’ home for up to 15 girls between the ages of 4-18. Keeping the home small helps ensure the place “feels like a real family home” for the residents.
The importance of personal relationships is seen as key to development.

Openhands are currently looking for individuals to give their time in the afternoons to assist the girls with English, maths, and reading skills. The Home is also open to assistance in taking the girls on weekend outings. In the past, individuals have sponsored the girls to go out for lunch, to the movies, or on picnics.
