Deirdre Davies

Dee was born in Australia and grew up on a Sheep Station not far from Canberra. She now calls Perth, Western Australia home. After leaving school she trained as a General Nurse and then specialised in Oncology Nursing. After leaving nursing Dee studied Sociology and went on to do her Doctorate in Sociology. After a stint in academia, she set up her own research and consultancy business before taking up a role as a manager in the not-for-profit sector.
Having arrived in Malaysia in March this year, Dee joined the ABWM and has enjoyed meeting new people and getting involved in the activities the association offers. She is looking forward to supporting Clare and the team.
Dee is married and has a son who lives in the UK. She loves hiking, cooking new recipes, travelling, reading, binging on period dramas and catching up for coffee and a chat.
