When people ask Sue about her life experiences, her witty response is to explain it as a simple timeline, before B.C. and after A.D..

BC is Before Caleb (her firstborn) and AD is After Darius (her youngest). The BC days would be her high-flying career with KPMG, one of the world’s Big 4s, where she dashes between client meetings in business suits and stilettos.

The AD days were considerably less glamorous. She devoted her time as a stay-at-home mom to two children, with one being a smart neurodivergent art prodigy. Surprisingly, it has strengthened her knack for financial management even more. Sue often jokes that her monthly household bill is equivalent to the GDP of a small country.

These days, Sue is focusing on herself. She is embarking on a new career in financial planning services and is excited to be learning and growing in this industry. Her journey of reinvention is inspiring as she goes to show that anyone, at any age, can learn and do something new if they want to.

Sue has a warm energetic personality and often knows how to put people at ease. She is passionate about using her skills to uplift the lives of others as a way of paying it forward. She sits on various boards and committees, and volunteers on a number of societies and associations, including one that helps mentors younger women in the workplace. Sue enjoys singing and baking sourdough bread in her free time.
