Tracey Harling

Secretary

Originally from London and now based on the south coast in Hastings, I have been fortunate to live and work in
several countries over the years, including Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Singapore and, of course, Malaysia. After
previously living in Kuala Lumpur from 2013 to 2015, I was delighted to return in 2024.
Before moving overseas, I worked for the NHS in a variety of administrative roles, including as a Personnel
Administrator. While living in Singapore, I volunteered with the Riding for the Disabled Association before becoming
Manager of a local swim school. These experiences allowed me to meet people from many different backgrounds
and strengthened my appreciation for the value of community.
As Secretary of the Association of British Women in Malaysia, I enjoy supporting the committee, keeping members
informed and helping the Association run smoothly behind the scenes. Having experienced life as an expat in
several countries, I understand how important it is to find friendship, support and a sense of belonging. I believe
ABWM plays an invaluable role in bringing women together, fostering friendships and helping members create
lasting connections while making the most of their time in Malaysia.
Outside of ABWM, I enjoy reading, swimming and crafts. I’m delighted to be part of such a welcoming organisation
and look forward to meeting both new and long-standing members at the House and at our events throughout the
year.
